Wayside Christian School welcomes families who are willing to support our Philosophy of Education and are committed to following the rules, policies, and regulations outlined in our student handbook.

As educators and staff, it is a privilege for us to work alongside parents to provide students with a Christ-centered education. Education at Wayside extends beyond the classroom and encompasses all aspects of the school experience, from the academics to the athletic fields. Our goal is to create a safe, clean, wholesome, and loving environment where students are encouraged to live out the principles and promises of God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

K4-6th Grade Enrollment Requirements:

Complete the New Family Application Form.
The parents will participate in an interview with the school Administrator or WCS staff member.
The student will undergo an academic evaluation.
K5 Students must turn 5 by September 30th.
Agree with the WCS Philosophy of Education.
Commit to abiding by the WCS Student Handbook.
Maintain regular attendance at a Bible-believing church.
Commit to honoring the sanctity of marriage (Genesis 2:23-24, Matthew 19:4-6).
Ensure the student possesses a sufficiently positive record of academic, behavioral, and emotional preparedness.

Enrollment will be considered complete, and a spot reserved when all forms have been filled out, the registration fee paid, tuition payment arrangements made, and all student records have been received.

7th-12th Grade Enrollment Requirements:

Complete the New Family Application Form.
The parents and student will participate in an interview with the school Administrator.
The student will undergo an academic evaluation.
Receive a recommendation from a local pastor
Agree with the WCS Philosophy of Education.
Commit to abiding by the WCS Student Handbook.
Maintain regular attendance at a Bible-believing church.
Commit to honoring the sanctity of marriage (Genesis 2:23-24, Matthew 19:4-6).
Ensure the student possesses a sufficiently positive record of academic, behavioral, and emotional preparedness.

The school administrator reviews the completed application, supplemental forms, references and assessment results to verify that the student aligns both academically and spiritually with our school’s mission. In grades 7-12, a student interview is also factored into the decision. All discussions regarding applications are held in strict confidence. Admission decisions consider the student’s potential for success at WCS, and the parents’ desire for a Christ-centered education for their children. Parents will be notified of the admissions decision via email. Wayside Christian School reserves the right to grant admittance only to students who we believe meet the criteria outlined in our admissions policy.
